The Beach
Golden sand beach, located in a wide cove defined by Ponta de Sagres and Cabo de S. Vicente. The beach seems to have been excavated in the high cliffs, with steep limestone cliffs, very stratified and jagged, and caves.
On the sand there is a great diversity of very jagged and sculpted rocks, with curious shapes.
To reach the beach, you have to go down an immense stone staircase. It has a tarmac road access from Sagres, following about 3 km towards Cabo de S. Vicente, on the EN 268.
