The Beach
Beach of golden sand, with small sand, located in a cove with the shape of a shell and with a paradisiacal aspect. The beach is delimited, to the west, by a large platform of limestone lapiás and, to the east, by very jagged limestone cliffs.

The practice of diving is favored on this beach, with an extensive area of very desirable immersed rock formations, both to the West and to the East.

It is part of the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park. It has a tarmac road from the village of Raposeira (EN 125), following about 4 km in the direction of Ingrina.
Curiosities

It was a place of inspiration for Sophia de Mello Breyner, a notable Portuguese poet who dedicated some of her poems to this beach.
