The 11-hectare of the reservoir has an important leisure area, offering a river beach, picnic parks and conditions for the practice of clean water sports.
As a resource for enhancing the tourist offer, the dam offers small footpaths, such as the “PR1 Maroiço Route”, the “PR4 Marginal Green Trail” and the “PR11 Apanha Pedrinhas Trail”, and a Concession Zone Sport Fishing
